Scholars Academy Application

The Scholar's Academy (Grades 3-8) is accepting more applications to attend the summer program. It is face to face and you will have to provide transportation. If interested, please complete the survey below. 



Bus Drivers Wanted!!
The DeKalb County School District is hiring school bus drivers. The District does offer CDL training and up to $1,200 in training stipend. The starting pay is $15.55 per hour with no previous experience. SMMS Virtual Summer Bridge Camp

Stone Mountain Middle School will host its first Virtual Summer Bridge Camp.  It will be for one week on July 12 - 15, 2021 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.  Summer Bridge is a data-driven program designed to bridge the achievement gap between grade levels and provide enrichment activities for all students.  This program is for Rising 6th, 7th, & 8th-grade students. Limited Seats!  Chromebooks will be distributed to students for the camp.

Free Internet Hot Spot!
The DeKalb Public Library is offering a FREE HOTSPOT for parents and families that may be experiencing some connectivity issues. Parents that need an internet connection during the day, they can go to the public library (see the link with locations) and access internet service in the library parking lots. As a reminder, this is only a resource offered by the DeKalb Public Library and it is not required for parents to utilize this resource.
