Letter from Mr. Reddick

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Language Arts teachers for Team 8A are Dr. Isaac and Mr. Reddick, and we are very excited to be your child’s teacher this year! We are proud to be your child’s teacher and are committed to doing everything within our power to make this year successful for all of us. There is great excitement as the school year begins. We have high expectations for your child and we will do all that we can to help your child achieve those expectations.
Your child’s grades will be based on tests, quizzes, projects, homework and class work. It is the expectation of the teachers, that all assignments are completed for mastery. Please take a few minutes each night to check your child’s progress in class. Your help and support will not only make your child more successful in school this year but will instill good study habits that will last a lifetime. If an assignment is not completed, the student will have two additional days to turn it in to receive partial credit.  If the assignment is 3 or more days late, parent will be contacted.

We want to thank you in advance for all your support. Together we will continue to work toward success and high student achievement. Once again, we have high expectations for your child and we will do all that I can to help your child achieve those expectations  We are very excited about the year ahead, and look forward to having the privilege of teaching your child! Finally, we want you to know that one of our most important goals this year is to keep the lines of communication open with you. We are available every day to talk with you between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at, Mr. Reddick or Dr. Isaac at (678) 676-4802.
