This classroom is a Technology friendly classroom. We use technology is enhance our learning and to deepen our thinking and understanding of the content matter. Here are a few resources we use to do so:
Edmodo.com: Your student will receive a sign-up letter the first day of school. Using Edmodo, students and teachers can reach out to one another and connect by sharing ideas, problems, and helpful tips. A teacher can assign and grade work on Edmodo; students can get help from the entire class on Edmodo. It is a safe environment. There is no bullying or inappropriate content, because the teacher can see everything that is posted on Edmodo. Also parents can join the class to bring a level of transparency that is difficult to achieve without technology.
Kahoot!: This is an interactive online quiz platform. Students have an opportunity to display their knowledge, while competing with classmates to get the top spot!
Instagram: Check out what our weekly newsletters, labs and in class projects your child is doing by following us on Instagram @sciencebonds. Infinite Campus: Ever wondered how you can stay on top of your child’s grades and progress in class? Well if you haven’t already, sign up to Infinite Campus and you will no longer have to wonder again.
